About Hays County CERT
Hays County's Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is a volunteer organization under the auspices of the Hays County Office of Emergency Management.
CERT provides its volunteers with the training and experience to help our local first responders during emergencies.
We provide support in several ways including:

Firefighter rehabilitation

Emergency preparedness
-
First aid
-
Light search and rescue
-
Traffic control
-
Disaster recovery
Volunteers are also our best advocates and our members attend community events to provide outreach and education to the public.
This dedicated group of more than 200 volunteers hails from across the county.
